This was meant to be a fun story, but it wouldn't be a Bronze Age comic if we didn't see the villains scheming at least a little bit.

I worked a long time to get the right look for this new villain. I think she came out well in the end, but it was a struggle.

I have to admit the hair beads were an ingenious touch. They make her stand out by showing she has a personality. It makes her more human for lack of a better phrase.

The beads came with that very well done hair model... but I had to re-surface them for iRay. Took a while to get the right look for them (without killing the render).

I don't know who the Shield of Dawn is, but the reference clearly implies a top-notch super hero team, so her powerS would have to be incredibly powerful, extensive, or (probably) both.

Also, some way of mitigating extreme violence (avoiding, withstanding, regenerating, etc) is definitely a requirement.

The Shield of Dawn appears in issue one, starting on page 13. http://libertylass.webcomic.ws/comics/14/

It includes Dr. Synapse, Miss Vector, Luminaire, and Wind Reader. They are the premier superhero team of LL's world, equivalent to the Avengers or JLA.

Night shots are really hard to do. I have an extended outdoor night scene in issue 6 and I am hating myself for writing it that way.

Your struggle is rewarded. She is convincing and scary as hell. I fear for our young, inexperienced, and possibly overconfident heroine.
