This scene was deceptively difficult to light but I think it came out OK.

That zoom effect when she gets slammed to that car is simply AMAZING! Nice Job dude

Thanks. I kind of have that effect down after all the KB Abby has taken. ;)

Methinks our heroine has her work cut out for her.

What is that she slammed into?

By the way, I really like the lower left frame.

It's a crashed truck. A bunch of cars are lying around smashed, lights are down, etc. You can see this on panel 1 of the previous page. The truck is to the left.

It came out way better than okay. NIghtchantress in panel 5 is menacing.

Thanks. I chose this character model for a reason. She has a great face for evil smiles.

Great scene setup, and well executed action!
The lady in panel 2 in the background kneeling confused me a bit. I first thought she was "OMG! in shock", but then she's behind the car in the 4th panel?
I quite like the FX you did here, though.

She moved over to take cover. People in the background are moving around a bit in this scene (which was frankly in pain in the neck to accomplish). For instance, the 2 officers behind the police car were shooting on the last page... The male officer is taking aim in panel 2, but then he and his partner are looking back stunned as they see LL go flying past in panel 4.

Also the other pair of cops, one was hit by NC on the last page. He is down and his partner is checking him in this page. And the couple that filmed the HeroTube video in issue 3 is here also... their car hit the median (you can see it in panel 5, behind NC).

I moved the characters around for each shot BEFORE locating/moving the camera, so sometimes they moved around but you don't see them transitioning. This is on purpose. They're moving regardless of where the camera is.

So the girl you mention, in Panel 2 she is out in the open. In pane 3 I had positioned her to be running to the car. But, when I did the WHAM! panel I decided I did not want the background in there -- I feel like this makes the blow seem more powerful. Then by panel 4 she had finished moving.

This happens a lot in this scene. The transitions are not always visible in a camera shot.

I was more confused about the pose, than the transition itself. I'd probably gone for crawling or scrambling away rather than kneeling in panel 2, which seems kind of stationary to me. Hence my confusion. :-)
But I probably wouldn't have noticed her like that anyway if she hadn't been right to the Lass' head in that image.
