I'm not sure if anyone has noticed yet, but since Abby woke up in the hospital room last issue, I have been using angled panel shapes. I decided to do this to represent Abby's disorientation. Not sure how well it works though... I guess you can all let me know.

looks good to me.

Looks good to me too. If you want it to be more obvious though, you could increase the angle, change the shape of corners to more rounded or fluffy looking, or use a thick colored line... But I like it the way it is.

I didn't want it to be too obvious.

My opinion on layouts, as a reader, is that they should be subtle enough that one does not consciously notice the layout at all -- but "there" enough that when you step back to consciously look at the page, you see the effect.

That's one of those cues that'll mostly be subconscious to the reader. And it works. Same as with the shape, shading, and gradient of the word and thought balloons.

I was more disturbed by the lack of junk on the walls. Hospitals always have junk on the walls.

Good observation! The pastel flower watercolors and fall-color palm tree oils are missing!

This room was hard enough to render as it was with 4 high-res characters + high detailed furniture, etc., without adding extra stuff to it that the builder didn't include.
