Happy Thanksgiving to all.

This first issue is starting to wind down. We are in our final scene... Then we have a back cover and we start issue 2. Can't believe it has gone so quickly.

This is also the final scene done using the old 3DeLight renderer. Starting with the cover of issue 2, all rendering will be done in Iray. There will be some bumps, since it took me a while to get the hang of Iray, but by late issue 2, the lighting will be much better than it has been in this issue.

Gaaaaah!

I'm all caught up and now have to wait with the rest of the mortals!!!

Great work so far, Steven! I love it. I found it via the comments you made in a CGI comics thread in the forums.

Glad you have enjoyed it.

Sorry you will have to wait now but if you like it so far, you may be glad to know that issue 2 is already completely done, and I am 8 pages into issue 3... So I am way ahead of schedule. So much so that I am contemplating releasing a little more frequently. I'm not 100% sure I can sustain 2 pages a week yet so I will wait until I am certain of it first.

It was a cool opening chapter. I liked how you started right in the action, instead of showing her background like most super hero origin stories and also the fact that Abby has a rich family. I am curious to see how you will deal with the "cliches" in super hero stories. I expect you to pull some unexpected stuff

Hopefully some stuff is unexpected. However, the purpose of this comic is to honor the traditional form, which has completely disappeared from the print comics of today, and also from most of the movies. So some of the cliche's will not only be there but be played up to their max.

Yeah, seems super hero comics today are into a "dark" trend (which I personally hate.)
