And finally here we have it... Liberty Lass in her full regalia.

This is actually a DAZ-ification of the 2nd costume color scheme I had for her in my City of Heroes days. The original costume had a blue top, red gloves and boots and skirt, and a red cape, with a lot less white on it. Later when COH added additional costumes, I tried this scheme, and after a while, this became my favorite and the primary one.

I still like it best although the white gloves and boots are a pain in the posterior -- they tend to burn hot when everything else looks properly exposed. You will see some of these exposure issues in the next issue of LL... By issue 4 I have figured out how to fix them, but they will never completely go away.

Thanks.

I will post a multi-view character study shortly so you can see it from all angles.

Also you can see it from another angle on the incentive page, for anyone who votes in TWC. It's nothing special but you get a different angle on it.

EDIT: Character study here:

Thanks.

Original Liberty Lass from COH, circa 2004.

Note: She started as Inv/SS but after 18 levels I regenned her as Inv/Fire because at the time, SS was gimped pretty hard.

Nice! Lots of references to early US flags in there.

Since you awesome people are making fan art now (that is so cool and I can't properly express how much I appreciate it), I have consolidated the about and faq pages and now there is a new 'fan art' page with some lovely work already present. Check out the work of CF's best artists as they reinterpret the Liberty Lass costume.

Outstanding! The character study is awesome; she looks amazing. The only problem with me doing "fan art" is that I would use... DAZ Studio! LOL!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention too that I like the gloves and goggles. Keeps fingerprinting and iris/retinal mapping options limited for nosy detectives, private investigators, or worst of all, sneaky reporters with political agendas.

I've always wondered why some industrious PI or entry-grade Metropolis PD detective wannabe didn't get the bright idea of taking fingerprints off of one of the trains, cars, planes, or space shuttles that Superman saved, and then just randomly figuring out where those fingerprints might be showing up in everyday life locations...like the car door of a taxi or the keys of a typewriter at the Daily Planet.

Or somebody with facial recognition software, or a retinal scan done at a distance. Batman's mask sure does show quite a bit of eye, nose, and jaw bone structure; maybe enough to rule out 80% of the population of Gotham City.

Or see if you can catch Spiderman going into the same apartment every day with the many CCD cameras no-doubt strategically placed throughout Manhattan.

Or microphones and processing software that could flag a high degree of similar timbre and speech patterns between Matt Murdock and DareDevil.

Yeah, there's that voice thing for Liberty Lass to be careful of. Is Abbey a singer in a church choir or on You-Tube?

Abby's not a singer and she's never been on YouTube. ;)

The thing with Secret IDs is that they are a fun conceit about the genre. You can't think to hard about them or the whole concept falls apart... just like the concept of how super powers are acquired like being bitten by a radioactive spider or irradiated by gamma rays.

What, do you mean they're not? And here I was worrying about what Superman would do if the sun began going red. :)
