This was a tough one. I pictured the splash panel a little differently in my head but the camera angle worked against me here, as well as the lighting. It came out OK but I think I could do better now... after almost another year of experience doing DAZ.

Note: I am traveling this week so I won't be able to respond to comments until the next page comes out. But I will respond!

I think it turned out nice! I really enjoy the fact that you make CGI work for you and not the other way around.

I'm gonna sound like a broken record by the end of this comic about that xD.

No, you're right.
He has made it look all classic comic style, but it's still clearly 3d renderings.
That is indeed bending the imagery to his will. :)

Thanks both of you.

It's not always an easy aesthetic to achieve but I have tried to make it work. Some pages achieve it better than others.

Wow! That last panel is probably the best comic book style punch that I've ever seen! The colors and lines from the explosive punch are awesome. I love the yellow over the orange background.

I hate to call that a pose. It's more like a perfect pause, while watching a superhero movie. It makes me wish that the old comics I used to read were printed as clearly as this looks on my screen. I bet those artists hated what the 4 Color Process did to their works of art.

I winced, when I saw the bits of shrapnel headed towards HomeWrecker's face. Speaking of Homie, I think I know what her theme song is:

"I came in like a wrecking ball
Yeah, I just closed my eyes and swung
Left me crouching in a blaze and fall
All you ever did was break me
Yeah, you wreck me

I never meant to start a war
I just wanted you to let me in
And instead of using force
I guess I should’ve let you in
I never meant to start a war
I just wanted you to let me in
I guess I should’ve let you in

Don’t you ever say I just walked away
I will always want (to wreck) you"

I bet things are all shiny with HomeWrecker, right up till she's wrecked your marriage. Then you learn that she's a real ball buster. ;)

Thanks for the compliments on the pose. It came out pretty well all things considered.
