I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but 'Daystar Industries' signs are located in several spots in Patriot point. At least two of them (and the associated chain link fences and construction equipment) were visible prior to this page.

I had not noticed...but until this point (or the previous panel really) it was just a name and not a plot point. It looks like you had some trouble with lighting on the last panel...my 3D skills are limited to Anim8or, so please take my observation as sympathy not criticism.

It's the same lighting as in the rest of the shot (that's the nice thing about Sun/Sky with iRay). She is flying right into the sun (as you can see if you look at the shadows of the people on the ground) so that may be part of why it looks off to you -- there are effectively no shadows.

Ah, old superhero showmanship trick, always leave by flying towards the sun, makes you seem to "disappear", very impressive to the citizens (and defeated villains as well) ;)

How is she going to explain her lateness? Also, if her voice hasn't changed, her friends and family would know who it was.

She's not late in the sense that she's overdue anywhere (yet). She's just late in the sense that now she has to rush before getting to the diner. She can't exactly fly there and show up in hero ID.

As for the voice, she doesn't grunt like Batman does in the movies if that's what you mean. The whole reason secret ID's work is because people see (and hear) what they *expect* to see (and hear). Nobody who knows Abby would expect her to be a superhero.

Abby's first major mission involves going up against a multinational conglomerate with plenty of capital, security, and lawyers. This should be a good warm-up.
