Is hypnotism among her powers, she gonna need to calm pint size down forever. Making him forget what he saw solves the problem.

It's not like the other kids will believe him anyway without evidence. other kids: "yeah, sure right, your sister is Liberty lass. Stop making stuff up! They don't even look anything alike: Liberty Lass wears glasses, and your sister doesn't!"
(as we all know glasses are an impenetrable disguise)

She takes the glasses off when she transforms. But that doesn't make any sense, she wouldn't be able to see

Unless they are zero-prescription glasses just being used as a mask-equivalent. (Or possibly have some additional capabilities built in-such as glare protection, UV protection, foreign-object protection, etc.)

Abby does not need corrective lenses. Her goggles are equivalent to sunglasses. They shade her vision from the sun while flying and help protect her secret ID. Plus, as you will learn in issue 5, she thinks they look cool. (Hey, she's sixteen.)

As for additional capabilities -- as of right now, there are none. However, that will be changing in issue 5, during which the goggles are going to be modified slightly.

"Glare protection, UV protection, etc..." are the 'extra abilities' you would get from sunglasses. (At least, if the ads on TV are to be believed. ^_^) And one certainly hopes they are made from safety glass so that they provide at least as much eye protection as you'd get in a typical high-school shop class. ^_^

They were made by Odo so yes they are high end.

However what I meant was she doesn't have any extra 'powers' built into the goggles... yet.

(from the movie Mystery Men)
Mr. Furious: That's because Lance Hunt is Captain Amazing.
The Shoveller: Don't start that again. Lance Hunt wears glasses. Captain Amazing doesn't wear glasses.
Mr. Furious: He takes them off when he transforms.
The Shoveller: That doesn't make any sense. He wouldn't be able to see!

I knew it...Liberty Lass can't lie!

Well, she can lie, and she probably has from time to time. But she also knows TJ is not going to fall for it. He's a smart kid.. and he knows what he saw.

She's lying in the last panel when she says it is not epic. It totally is! ;)

It's not just truths that are self-evident, falsehoods can be too.
