This is one of those rare pages that turned out pretty much the way I had scripted it.

The jetpack, however, which seemed like such a cool idea at first, turned out to be a pain in the backside. Trying to make it look active but different in every panel grew old really, really fast.

Sometimes I used an extra light from behind, sometimes I did stuff in post.

I get that feeling all the time talking to kids. I mention something I know because I lived when it happened or even things before I was born like WW2 & they just draw a blank. It's like if it happened before they turned 10 it doesn't exist.

Heck, it's still shocking to me that our college freshmen don't remember 9/11. When I started at my college 10 years ago, they remembered it quite vividly and most of them would have said it deeply affected their childhood.

Wow, it's nice to see how even though City Of Heroes is dead it's still remembered. I had a character that looked almost like Liberty Girl named Free Spirit. Sure brings back the good times.

Yes, the Liberty Lass costume is almost exactly what it looked like in COH for about 6 years.

"I used to be pretty famous, back in the day..." and "I can't believe I have to announce myself", followed by "this is really embarrassing"; these are...

Clue numbers 246, 247, and 248 that your 15 minutes is up, probably has been for some time now, oh and you were probably a B-actor anyway so you ain't gonna get a do-over.

I'm waiting for a few Hollywood types to say one or all of those any day now, LOL!

...and I forgot to say that I can't wait for Liberty Lass to kick this guy's big butt all the way to the suburbs. Of Cleveland!

Heheh.

Well, Liberty Lass is strong enough to punch someone pretty far, especially if the person is airborne (after all, it's +1D6 KB in Champions terms if you are off the ground). The question is whether he'll give her a reason to do that.

Liberty Lass whips out her cell phone "Wait ...Let me google you!...Wikipedia says you were a minor villain with little impact...wait...Rotten Tomatoes gives you an average of 57%..." Looks at him. "My grandmother has more history."

Haha... You are not as far off-base as you think. Keep reading... ;)

Syddent, you had me laughing at that...

"My grandmother has more history, and by the way, your mom updated your wikipedia page to say you got in trouble in junior high school for pulling all the girls' hair in 3rd period history class. That is, until one of them half your size beat you up during 4th period "B" lunch and forced you to eat all the vegetables on your cafeteria lunch tray, and hers too. Mmmm, raw cauliflower and boiled brussels sprouts <smirk>.

The question is, will Liberty Lass's left bootprint leave a lasting bruise on this guy's keester?
